Woman who vows to do the bare minimum for a chicken she finds on the highway ends up falling in love, gives her feathery friend a life of luxury: ‘I’m so proud to be her chicken mom'

Chickens are an underrated pet. We're here to tell you, chickens rule! Of course, do your research before getting a chicken—do your research before adopting any living creature! But they can be the biggest sweeties ever. We usually just hear about chickens from the side of the farmer. So we're excited that they provide us with eggs, they eat the pesky bugs that might want our crops, and, for some, they provide a hearty chicken dinner… But what about from the animal lover stance?

We're not talking Peta. We're just talking about an empathetic person who sees a struggling animal, any animal, and wants to help them. This happened with one woman and a chicken. She was just minding her own business driving down the highway, when she sees a chicken, feet bound, tossed to the side. She was heartbroken and instantly pulled over. Now she had a chicken but was unsure what she need or even wanted to do next…

So, she did the best thing she could think of: She turned to TikTok to seek advice. While the helpful comments flowed in, she talked about how she didn't want to get a coop or more chickens, all while making her new feathered friend feel loved. The little lady fell asleep in her lap when she got home. And, let's be honest, that had to settle it, because the next video is a chicken coop.

Now, she's got big plans for a luxurious chicken coop and has even already purchased and brought home more chicken friend for her found baby that she named Lilith. We are living for this epic chicken glow up, for both bird and chicken mom!
