‘[She] tried to offer me $5 “as a kindness”…': Karen neighbor throws toddler-level tantrum after guy moving out won't give her his couch for free, stands guard

Moving is already one of the most stressful times of your life—the longer you have lived somewhere and have accumulated more stuff, the harder it is to move. You never realize how much useless inanimate objects you have until it's time to move. So when you're moving, you get your closest friends to come help you out. They might begrudgingly do it, but nonetheless, they're your buds and understand the stress you're going through, so they help out. When they come, however, you think you'll just need them to help pack, move stuff around, clean up, drive the truck, etc. 

 

Unfortunately, when you live near a Karen, it turns out you will also need them to play security guard—because Karens think that the laws of "finders keepers" is an actual federal law passed by the senate AND congress and it only is legally allowed to work in their favor… So, yeah, you'll have to give them all of your stuff if you leave it on the curb as your friends bring the moving van around…

She even tried to guilt trip him into giving her his couch for free and then eventually offered him $5… $5?! For an entire friggin' couch?! Wow. Just, wow.
