"No one wanted him": 3-year-old cat returned to shelter because of his awwdorably crossed eyes, but gets adopted by heartwarming hoomans who love him for his cute quirk

This cat owner adopted this cross-eyed cutie when he was 3 years old after he had been in the shelter for six months. When he first arrived at the shelter, Wasabi was zooming up to all the hoomans looking for frens like "HI, I AM READY FOR LOVE." But after getting passed up again and again, he turned into a sad, squishy loaf with zero meowtivation. 

Then, his forever family walked in, saw his smooshy face, and immediately said "that's our guy." 

Now, he's living his best nine lives. Cuddles? Check. Sunbeam snoozin'? Check. Chasing critters? Double check. He's offically earned the nickname "mice terminator" and turns out he hunts better than his non-googly eyed brother. No shade to Mango. 

Wasabi may look a little silly, but he's got the biggest heart and the best snuggles. He's got that "I was born to be loved" energy. From skinny kitty to fearless feline mouse-slayer, this cat's story is pure purrfection. With every pounce and every purr, Wasabi shows that even the goofiest kitties can have the biggest hearts.

    Purple_Lab5333 OP And we make sure he feels all the love, apparently the previous owners didn't like his eyes and was put up for adoption he was at the SPCA for like 6 months before we found him he was sleeping when we came and didn't even walk towards us, the lady told us that he used to run up to people but kinda gave up after others were adopted so we immediately took him and now he is the brightest boy with the biggest heart

  • Cross-eyed cats have that perfect combo of goofy and cute. How are they this adorable just by looking slightly the wrong way? Extra derp, extra charm, and totally impossible to resist.

  • Those googly eyes and floofy cheeks are just asking for endless boops, gentle pets, and all the cozy cuddles. Would 100% cancel plans just to snuggle Wasabi all day. Total cuddle magnet.
