Look, I'm not going to sit here and argue that everything about the present moment that we exist in is wonderful, but there is plenty that we are lucky to have. In many places in the world, we have access to more comfort and freedom in our daily lives than ever before. Most importantly, we get to expose ourselves to the wonders that can be found on the internet, memes being the cream of the crop when it comes to that. At no other point in history could we carry around a small screen that acts as a portal to a whole cornucopia of humor and entertainment, which we can tailor exactly to our preferences if we really want to. However, I would argue that it is good to keep those horizons at least a little broad and take in as much randomness as you can muster. It's still easy to do.
