Howdy, fam! One of the things no one prepaws you for when you get a pet is how absolutely adorable they are. You raise them, you teach them everything they know, you see them when they go to sleep and when they wake you up to go outside at 4 AM. You see the silly faces they make when they yawn, or the pawsitively ridiculous pawsitions they fall asleep in. You get to see their faces when they try pizza for the first time, and their happiness when you get them a new toy. 

All of these moments are too precious for words. And what's even more special is that each pawrent has their own unique stories of things their pets do that make them smile. We thought it was the pawfect way to start the week, so that's why we're sharing it with you this Monday morning.     If he get's a bit frightened by something (a loud motorbike going past, the doorbell or phone ringing), he will fly right to me, because I'm his safe space. I literally cried the first time it happened, I was so touched that he trusted me <3

  • This cat was born with a doggo's soul. An anxious doggo's soul, but a doggo's soul nonetheless. Is this why guard cats aren't a thing? We think they would make excellent guards if the awwpportunity presented itself.

    he's a cat and I can see him turn away and run into the closet to hide. But for a split second, I'm touched that he thought about mauling a stranger for me.

    Diamondfox_ I always do super over the top kisses on my cat's head and I've noticed over the years he will come up to me, rest his head on me and make like lip smacking noises and I'm pretty sure he's mimicking me, and if not I choose to believe it because it's so cute.

    Comfortable-Gur4559 I have three cats. I feed them in order but all pretty much at the same time. My younger cat always finishes first and she sits by my older cat but doest not approach her food bowl and then my older cat always walks away and leaves her 1 single kibble. She gives away one kibble.

    I leave very early, 2:30am. She says in bed while I get up and get ready in the bathroom, then I sneak back through the bedroom and down the stairs, and every morning without fail I hear the jingle jingle of her tags

  • When there is a loud ambulance siren at night, it always wakes our doggo up. She comes into our room to check on us, make sure we're okay, and then goes back to bed. It happens every time.

    follow me down the stairs, then she sits or lays down and waits while I put on my shoes and coat, then I bend down and she gets up and puts her paws on my knee and presses her head into my neck and I give her a quick squeeze and she gives me one lick then heads back upstairs and back to bed....

    Then when I come home she will run and launch at me, fully expecting me to catch her so she can do an assisted climb up to my face to attack me with love, then she runs off and finds a chew toy.... (She's a mini cowboy corgi, almost 20lbs)

    on his back, and stretch his legs and toes as much as he can. And then I start scratching his tummy (which I know most cats hate, but this one doesn't) and he starts purring ridiculously loud, his mouth hangs open, and his eyes roll back into his head. It's so adorably cute!

    dalaigh93 When my cat is sleeping, or nearly asleep, next to us, we give her a light stroke and she starts rolling to wedge herself right next to us on her side, wit her paws curled and her belly exposed. That's when we know she 100% trusts us and love our company
