Who wouldn't love the adrenaline rush of joining a "Quick Sync" Zoom, expecting to discuss quarterly goals, only to stumble straight into the corporate version of the Purge? Thanks to the daily roulette of remote work invites, a simple click lands you face-to-face with HR, your department head, and a lineup of haunted colleagues you only ever see when something terrible is about to happen. Ambience: less "team check-in," more "virtual laying to rest." 

Meet Luna's manager, making a surprise cameo, eyes wide, mouth moving, soul clearly departing as he realizes Luna is in the wrong meeting of this episode of corporate Hunger Games. 

In one of the great moments of modern leadership, he manages to mumble, "Oh. Uh… Luna… this isn't your meeting. I'll… call you back." The digital guillotine descends, she's booted from the Zoom call, and left marinating in dread for twenty minutes, wondering if she just previewed her own sacking or wandered onto the set of a dystopian HR drama.

When the callback arrives, her manager is flushed, equal parts guilt and the haunting knowledge that, somewhere in the HR ether, is a spreadsheet with everyone's fate. "Sorry, totally wrong link. You're safe… for now." Comforting, truly.
