We were told “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” and other nonsense phrases that ultimately didn't do us any good. We were taught that the harder you work, the more results you'll see. Oh boy, were our silly boomer parents wrong. How disillusioning it is to realize your hard work goes nowhere and you'll never buy a house or be out of debt.

Starter Pack Memes for Quintessential Millennials Who Resent Adulting
Hey there millennial prince and princesses. There's way too much I miss about growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. Kids these days will never understand the beauty of phoneless hangouts, not knowing what time it was with friends till the twilight hours of the morning, not worrying about what you look like because there wasn't the potential of a camera taking your photo at any time, and the general lack of aesthetic competition that comes with growing up today. Our childhoods were filled with borderline inappropriate, yet genius cartoons, self deprecating humor, existential dread, and knowing how to ride a bike or use a map.
Our natural instincts and human skillsets are dwindling as the generations go by. Where our grandma's were baking homemade bread and milking cows, we can barely heat up our microwave pot put properly without burning our uncalloused little hands. These days, kids growing up can't even write with a pen and paper because their hand cramps too easily. I have some words for those kids: my hand cramps from texting and typing! See how it feels to be an old millennial looking to the past.
