    When two people in our friend group got married, they showed up at the wedding with it. They should've told them to leave it at home, foolishly thinking a wedding would be an exception to their "It's our CHILD. He goes EVERYWHERE we do, OF COURSE" thing.

    ScubaCC My brother in law tried to bring his dog to my rehearsal dinner (I put the kibosh on that myself) and then actually brought the dog to my stepdad's funeral. My husband was like "Mom, please deal with him." And my wonderful MIL took care of it.
