Here we are, on a fair summer weekend, the air heavy with possibility. Surely, there are all manner of things we could be doing right now, and that makes it that much more special that we are choosing to look at memes. They are a tempting prospect, being so easy to access and even easier to enjoy in convenient list form. They offer simple, lowbrow entertainment with no expectation of us giving anything in return except some of our time and attention, and maybe a share or two. The other fun (or responsibilities) of the weekend can wait, because it is time to give our energy to that most important life force of the internet, memes. There is always something to learn from them, even if that something happens to be dumb. It gives you some kind of life experience, as well as providing the pointless amusement that we came for.
