Precious polar fox escapes from small German zoo, but his glorious getaway gets interrupted by an adorably relatable urge to nap

We firmly believe that we could take over the world… if we weren't so sleepy all the time. Our weekends are packed with grand plans of crossing off everything on our to-do lists, starting new projects, learning new hobbies, and a whole hodgepodge of other things, but then we get the urge to nap, and none of it gets done. What're we supposed to do? Once you hit your 30s, there's not much you can do. When nap time hits, you must follow. There is no fighting nap time.

Appawrently, we're not the only ones unable to resist the zzz's once they set their sleepy sights on us. After escaping from a small German zoo, one polar fox had his glorious getaway interrupted by the adorably relatable urge to nap. Sounds familiar, right? This little guy just curled up right in the middle of the road. Luckily, a zookeeper rescued him from the wild and safely brought him back to his sanctuary.     notkno... I read in the german press, that this cutie is a female fox, and since her partner d d in the end of 2022 she seems to be proactively searching for a new male companion. The park is already in the middle of getting a new male polar fox for her, looks like a happy ending :)

    jaybleeze You're a polar fox. You've lived your whole life in captivity. You manage to escape and wander around, not sure what you're doing or where to go. You get tired and say, "F ," and just lay down to sleep, not sure what will happen to you. You wake up back at home

  • When you put it like that, it's not as cute. But this fox has only known its sanctuary its whole life. It's not prepared to live in the wild. Not to mention that its natural habitat is a long way away. This is the best thing that could have happened to it, even if we don't necessarily agree with the way zoos operate in general.
