After being picked up by police and sent to the shelter, this dog got a second chance thanks to a father who couldn’t walk away from puppy love

You know, in this life it is not the start you are given, but what you do with it. This poor pupper could have found himself in a life of canine crime. Being chased by restaurant owners, picked up by the cops and spending a lifetime on the run. But not all stories end up in such tragedy as is evidenced by this wholesome hooman who upon looking into the eyes of his soon to be pupper, did not see a canine criminal, but a poor pupper in need of love, attention and support to be the best buddy he could be. And thankfully the doggo understood that too, making for the sweetest success story.

Until now, they have described puppy love as something that melts your heart. But from this moment on puppy love will stand for the unfathomable amounts of love that a darling doggo has within them and can use to completely change their lives.

    My grandparents would take off for a week or two every summer for a vacation and we would go out and watch Dutc for them. The last trip, she was probably 13 or 14yrs old.
