My husband and I are buying our 1st home together. When we moved in we quickly found out that our neighbor wanted respect that he wouldn't give anyone else.

He was pretending to own the lot between our houses and he had the nerve to confront our contractor about leaving his truck on it.

Mind you he had 4 junk cars parked on the lot already. He was also letting his dog on the lot and never cleaned up the. Not to mention he never put a leash on the dog and just let him. out freely without even looking to see if we were outside.

To add insult to injury he started playing his music at any time of day and night as loudly as possible. Well one day we got a notification from the city that we could buy the lot.

Lol we purchased the lot. Then when he refused to stop letting his dog out or to remove his last junk heap I started calling the police and animal control. I called them 4 times in one week. I even had his junk heap towed by the police.

He got so mad that he tried to confront me in front of the police.... He was like "what is it now? " 1st you don't want my dog in your lot and then you call about my music why are they here now? Now he keeps his dog in his yard and stops his loud music before 10 pm.

Helpful-Atmosphere-7 Some people are so inconsiderate. You did the right thing.

hymie0 My mother had a neighbor like that. He literally could not believe that, in a "free country," police were stopping him from cutting down trees on my mother's property. (That's the only specific story I remember, but there were a few others)

lee14s_man Honestly this doesn't seem like petty revenge. Sounds like you did the right thing and are helping yourself and your other neighbors! Good job.
