Some animals out there really seem like they want to be our friends sometimes. And no, no, don't call us crazy animal people, we mean it. Some animals want to be our friends, and personally, we think that's awesome. We've seen examples of this all over the place - from a man who's been friends with a giant fish for 30 years, to another man who's been friends with a swan for 37 years, to another diver who has been friends with an octopus ever since he saved it. It's not conspiratorial if it's true.

And today, we're adding another unique friendship to the list. Or well… we'd like to think this was a moment of a blossoming friendship. A wild sea lion decided to hitch a ride on a man's boat for some snacks. And we mean that literally. Whatever you're imagining when you read "hitch a ride", we promise, it's not nearly as hilarious as what actually happened.
