'Are you here to see the male or the female?': Feline fan rescues purrfect Persian cat from being thrown out on the streets after breeders considered her useless

If you have never been to our side of the internet before, we're huge proponents of the "adopt, don't shop" meowthedology. When there are so many cute cats on the street or in shelters that need our help, why would we waste several thousand dollars on a cat from a breeder? Now, if you want a meowrvelously majestic Maine Coon cat, that's one thing, but if you want a regular house cat, we advise you to put a box out in front of your house, and we guarantee you that you'll have yourself a new cat in a matter of days.

But, there are rare occasions when we would say it's appropriate to purchase a cat, like in the story below! One feline fan rescued a purrfect Persian cat from some breeders after she stopped showing interest in being a momma cat anymore. They were going to toss her away like trash, but this cat lover convinced them to let him take her. See more pictures of her below!

  • $3,000?? That's more money than we've spent on all four of our cats all year. Why spend $3k when you can just find a cute kitty on the street? All you have to do is trust in the Cat Distribution System - it never fails and works around the clock to connect cats and hoomans who need them.

  • “Rescue” can have many meanings. It doesn't always have to mean taken for free. Rescue can mean to rescue from a situation, even if it means paying money. Haters are going to hate, and we support this feline fan and his new floofy kitty. They look like a match made in heaven!

    Peony907 • 2h ago I rescued my guy from a breeder too. He was also a former champion showcat. I love him so much and im so glad I have him, but it makes me sad the way he was treated. Not outright a Ised, but not treated as a pet.

    I remember when I went to meet him, they said, "are you here to see the male or the female?" Didn't even use his name! And they had raised him from a baby! They were so ready to get rid of him because they were moving that they didn't even take money for him.

    also people should not be breeding animals when they are 2 years old their can be a lot of complications that is why I think this cat is a rescue! I've taken in many young pregnant stray animals and I've seen what happens to them! some moms

    di trying to give birth when they are very young, some can't produce enough milk, sometimes the babies don't make it because the mom is to young. THIS IS MY OPINION! and what I have seen.
