Husband forgets wife's birthday but refuses to take accountability, instead blames it on 26-year-old stepdaughter for not reminding him: ‘You should have warned me’
How can someone, in this day and age, forget the birthday of a person so close to them? Never mind the fact that their birthday should be seared into their memories, making it impossible to skip over, but we have so many technological advancements that ensure no one's birthday goes unnoticed, so how does that still happen to people with their loved ones every single day?
It doesn't even require that much effort. All you have to do is put it into your phone's calendar, set it to repeat every year, and you're good. You can even set reminders for the week or the day before, so you can make those dinner reservations, or order the birthday gift you have sitting in your Amazon cart. It shouldn't be that hard.
Yet, for many people on this planet, it is hard. They still let important dates pass by them without noticing, and they hurt the people they love the most in the process.
Is it anyone's fault but their own? We think not, but the stepfather in the story below would beg to differ.
