Much like Pokémon, there is an animal out there for each and every one of us. Sure a lot of people might fit into the cat or dog mold, but seeing how varied we are as people it is only natural that there would be those who stray and look for another way to connect with the animal kingdom. Enter rats, highly intelligent, completely ostracized, and utterly adorable when you really take the time to appreciate them.

It is unfortunate that they have been given such a sacrilegious name in society, after all it is not their fault that infected fleas jumped on them and then onto us, creating one of the worst health crises ever.   • The pawfect ‘I just woke up and look super cute while being bleary-eyed’ look. It is hard to hate on rats when they have the ability to look this cute. And sure, in the wild they are not our favorite animals, but that really should be more of a stray cat problem than a hooman one. Heck maybe if we adopted more rats there would be less of them in the wild to cause chaos…

  • Look at this little dude! What a dapper fellow, we would not be embarrassed to be seen around town with this handsome guy. How is it that rats look so good in hats? We just need to figure out a way to convince our rat buddies that hats are cool and then develop a specific rat hat that they can wear whenever they want.
