Hi my name is Dorothy and I am in need of I don't want to say anything like a dog walker. One because I cannot afford $20 an hour. I'm really looking for someone to come to my house once or twice a day to let my dog out in the yard and if possible chill out with him for a little bit. You're more than welcome to sit on my porch or in my air conditioned living room. If you might be interested please feel free to leave me a message. Thank you so much

Not entirely sure if this counts but she's looking for what sounds to me like a dog sitter. I looked up drop in dog visits and it seems to start at $25 per visit (Westchester County, NY).

    • Inevitable_Cat_7878 15h ago I don't understand people like this. Pets aren't cheap. How can she afford things like dog food, vet visits, etc. if you can't afford to pay a dog sitter? Why get a pet in the first place?

cadfael1271 • 15h ago . She doesn't name what she's willing to pay, so I guess she's looking for someone to come hang out with her pooch for the sheer pleasure of its company? Oddly enough, I think I know ppl willing to do this, though I'm not one of them.

ILoveLipGloss • 15h ago honestly if she were my neighbor i'd do it for free or like a sixer of seltzer; i have done it for the people in my building with their cats simply because i love animals & don't have any pets currently.

SoullessCycle • 14h ago There's a teenager in my apartment building who can't have her own dog because of allergies in the family, so she loves her afterschool "come over and take my dog outside for 30 minutes" for people in the building. She gets paid, Dorothy.

ButterscotchNo6734 14h ago That seems like a job for a neighborhood teenager. My daughter does similar services for neighbors and was paid $350 for six days for a family with 3 dogs but it included 3 visits to their home each day

cloudit30569 · 12h ago This reminds me of a girl I helped move this past weekend. She writes exactly like this. I showed up to help her out alongside 5 of her friends. She then proceeds to talk to us as if she was paying
