Life can't always be sunshine and rainbows. It's just not the way the cookie crumbles on this planet. It's not the way the Benson Boone Moonbeam Ice Cream Crumbl Cookie crumbles. If we're gonna have ups, that means that we're going to have downs. Or else we wouldn't know when the ups were. We would just be on an even keel for eternity, and that kind of sounds like a punishment worse than death. So it's our job to take the ebbs and the flows in stride. Riding the highs is easy. 

You just lean into it like you lean into a wave when you're swimming in the ocean. You let it sweep you away, and it's ecstasy. Riding the lows, though, is not quite so easy. You might wanna fight against it, and that's a good instinct. If you let it overtake you too much, you might drown in it forever. This is why we need our little lifeboats. .
