25+ 1-star reviews written by unhappy campers: 'National Park... too many animals'

Leaving a 1-star review for a place that has wronged you is a good feeling. Just writing down your gripes can make you feel a lot better. Of course, the customer is not always right. Sometimes the customer is at fault for their own bad experience, but that doesn't stop them from typing up a 1-star takedown of that restaurant or park they just had a bad time at. 

There are a few genres of 1-star reviews. It's always funny to see a 1-star review from someone who is just there to say that they've never been there at all. Thanks for your contribution! 

Other people have been to the location, and are hopping mad about it. I utterly adore the person who went to Niagara Falls, and instead of being wowed by the awesome falls, was upset that water was $4 a bottle. After all… look how much water there was! I guess they'll have to bring their own bucket and rope next time and try to scoop up some of the clear for themselves. 

Then, there are people who really did have a 1-star time that was not their own fault. I didn't include those here, because it's not really funny. But in some cases, things go so wrong that it's hilarious. Just ask the "U-Haul goat" person below!

    The feeling when you just want to get your U-Haul truck, but you have to defeat a full pack of goats first

    For a rural VT U-Haul Store ✰✰✰✰ 1.0 The parking lot was full of animal and de d plants. It looked abandoned and I did not feel comfortable. There was a pack of goats that charged at me in the parking lot. My truck did not contain the hand cart I reserved. This location had a note taped to the door that it was closed, there was no one who could help me with my reservation. - Hannah D

    I do sympathize with this person, and although they were left U-Haulless, they at least have a hilarious story to tell at parties.

    Thinking about the implications of dozens of guests who may have done this

    No snakes in the Best Western in the halls S 1/5 2 reviews Called ahead and confirmed they accepted pets. I'm here for a reptile convention over a hundred miles from home. Currently have 40 non-venomous ball pythons with with in separate tubs all in a big storage tote. You could not see them but I was honest with them. Initially they said it was ok.     Imagine: you're a hotel worker and you get this guy as a guest. Then the next guest also shows up with a few dozen snakes. And the next person has 5 tanks of lizards. And you realize with horror that your hotel has been booked up for the weekend for the reptile convention! I'm very curious to know what happened here, besides telling this dude and his 40 non-venomous ball pythons to hit the road.

    Always find a silver lining

    Three legged chair sitting in wet carpet. Great value. a month ago Vacation | Friends Where to begin?? I'll start with the three legged chair in the room, that was sitting in wet carpet. It was dark when we got there, so we didn't notice the skeletonized bird carcass on our patio. The overhead lights in the bathroom did not work, and an outlet was hanging from the wall.     This person was surprised at the lack of restaurants on top of… a mountain. Apparently this mountain is almost always covered in clouds, which as one commenter noted, "anyone in a 30-km radius around Ben Nevis will tell you." Skill issue!

THe waiter was a very cute boy around her age and was nice enough at first. I asked him if he would like to go on a blind date with my daughter. He said no. Needless to say i did not leave him a tip and also reported him to his manager. My daughter's face was all red for the rest of the meal.
