We wish we could wish you a happy Sunday, animal fam, but if you're anything like us, you've probably felt a little off in recent days. This aching feeling that something is just not right in your world. Could it be that the world is literally on fire? Could it be that you're faced with an overwhelming amount of information which makes it impawssible to make even the simplest decision? No, surely it can't be any of those things.

But all hope is not lost! There is light in the darkness and pawsitivity to fend off the negativity if you know where to look for it. We choose to find it through humor, specifically the humor found in animal memes. The animal below feel weirdly personal to us this month maybe because we're just another animal (human) trying to survive in this crazy world, but we know that if we don't find reasons to laugh, we won't have much of anything at all.   • We never thought in our adult lives that we would emotionally resonate with a possum, and yet, here we are. We have felt recently like we're on the edge…. of biting someone if something else goes wrong. At this point, what else can we do?   • It seems like you can't trust anyone these days. Fake news this, fake news that - it's all just too much. This is why we prefer the company of our pets to people. Our cat won't lie to us. They can't even fake slow blink to pretend they love us, but at least they're being honest about it.
