Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Most of us grew up watching cartoons of some sort. Maybe you were into Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, or PBS. It doesn't matter what you watched, because we all watched something growing up, unless you were one of those kids who grew up without cable television. These days, kids will never understand the pleasure and nostalgia of sitting in front of the TV on a Saturday morning, hoping your favorite show was on, or better yet, one of your favorite episodes. There's a sort of beauty in the unpredictable, and with smart phones in the hands of babies there's no beauty in uncertainty, and their whole brain development will be different.
I saw a video once of young kids who were at a hotel with their family. They didn't understand the commercials between episodes that were playing on the hotel television. They didn't know what they were! Enjoy the memes below and be grateful you're not a kid right now.
