Kind mom and kids rescue drowning mink from a pond, then Mama mink swoops in to bring her baby to safety: ‘Mums always have your back’
Sometimes, wildlife needs help, too. Though we should let nature run its course on many occasions, there are certain circumstances where you might have to make a judgment call. That's what the mother and her family do in this next story, when a mink is drowning in a likely man-made pond. If you have the opportunity to save a defenseless animal who, without human-made structures, would have otherwise not been in this predicament in the first place, would you? Your answer is probably yes, and ours is, too!
Have you ever seen a baby mink? Have you heard the noises they make? When I look at any baby animals, I see my feline son, Cooper. A meowther's intuition is what dictates many of my animal-related judgment calls—animal lovers simply can't help it.
The mom who posted this heartwarming video illustrates how she and her family saved a mink from a pond using long nets to scoop the baby animal out of the pool. What the hooman mom didn't expect, though, was to see the baby mink's mama frantically swoop in to make sure her hotdog-shaped baby was alright! Scroll below to watch the entire video!
