‘Teenager wins!’: Entitled woman says she's young enough to stand when someone offers her their bus seat but then throws a tantrum when she's left standing, gets roasted by a teen

When it comes to raising your kids, everybody is entitled to their own techniques. It's nobody's place to tell you how to raise your kids unless you ask somebody specifically for advice. It's a hotbed topic when it comes to raising teens; the "science backed" advice seems to always be changing. "You shouldn't be so strict!" "Parents need to be stricter!" "Teenagers need their own cellphone." "Keep your teens away from screens!" "Teens need to eat more protein and sleep more!" "Teens should only eat raw vegetables and sleep three hours a night!" Ahhhhhh!! It's all so confusing. 

 

Though we are not child psychologist or even parents of teens, here's our advice nobody asked for: Get to know your teen and roll with the punches. Do whatever it takes to help them stay confident and empathetic. If that means being stricter and feeding them more protein, have at it! If that means giving them more independence and letting them go vegan, c'est la vie. You want a teen that will stand up for themselves and others in need, right?
