Picking the perfect home for you and your family is no small decision. It's the place where you'll spend most of your leisure time. It's got to have a big kitchen to cook meals in, cozy bedrooms so you can get a good night's sleep, and welcoming living areas to host friends and family get-togethers. It can take months or years to find your ideal space, and even then, you may not get everything you want out of that house. But once the home is yours you can make specific changes to the design to make it your own, and no one knows that better than the owners of some rather gaudy and off-putting homes below.

Taste is subjective! Perhaps these folks have a high-fashion sense of style that this commoner just can't understand. Some have only slightly irritating-looking homes, while others are complete design disasters. Check out a bunch of garish McMansions and strangely planned out homes below.
