'Mom said you have to let me borrow your clothes': Entitled teenager demands to wear sister's clothes, sister maliciously complies and makes her wear the dirty ones

There is a common misconception that siblings can get away with questionable behavior toward one another. Some folks believe that because they are the older sibling, they are entitled to a certain kind of treatment simply because they have lived more and are more "experienced" (whatever that means!). As a younger sibling myself, I always felt conditioned to believe that I had things easier as the second child. In some ways, this is true. For instance, my parents were a bit more relaxed when it came to curfews and other aspects of my social life, especially during my high school years. However, that is simply one facet of my adolescence. That one example shouldn't be a justification for older siblings acting like they're the boss of you.

Of course, these skewed dynamics can also manifest in different ways. In this scenario, we have a younger sibling who thought she deserved preferential treatment all the way as a result of the ways in which their mother always gave her the benefit of the doubt. Things came to a head when the younger sister would not stop demanding to wear the older sister's clothes. That's when the older sister, who shared this story online, had enough!

She even got her mom to co-sign this “order.” However, she didn't exactly specify which clothes she needed, and that's where the author found her little loophole. We imagine that the little brat got their mother involved, but at the end of the day, the author did technically follow the rules.
