  • Good day, people. just need to vent and also some advice I married a guy who's got a soft spot for his mom and I didn't think that'd be a problem at first.
  • I mean we all want to love and respect our parents right? I thought it was sweet. But sweet turned into suffocating real quick.
  • We had a baby last year and since then it's like she's decided she's the third parent. She's constantly over. Rearranging my kitchen. Folding laundry I didn't ask her to touch.

  • Telling me how to feed the baby. Saying stuff like oh he's crying because he misses grandma like no Karen he's crying because he's a baby and he's tired.
  • I try to draw boundaries and somehow I'm the one being ride. My husband always says the same thing just let her help she just wants the best for us.

  • I don't feel like I'm living my life anymore. It's like I'm stuck in a weird roommate situation with a woman I didn't choose.
  • She comments on everything. My parenting my clothes even what we eat. She once swapped out all our snacks and said now you have real food in the house.
