Eating animals is quite the contentious subject, with opinions ranging from we hoomans should eat everything that moves, to opinions that say that we should not even partake in products derived from animals. But whatever your opinion, there is one thing that we can all agree on, when an animal is freed it deserves to remain free. However, that is not what the original owner of this story's bunny rabbit protagonist had in mind when one of his meat farm bunnies bounced its way to freedom and into the arms of an unsuspecting savior.

Adding yet another complex element to the tapestry of animal rescues, and proving how little we really know about the animal we are rescuing - you might remember the time that a heroic rescuer ended up stealing someone's beloved pet they thought was a stray. So strap in for a wild rollercoaster ride of emotions as we hop head first into this tail of woe, wonder, and happy endings, but for whom?
