Sweet Hooman Adopts ‘Bubby’ the Gentle Pitbull and Documents His First Wholesome Month in His New Furever Home (VIDEO)

As a hooman, there's nothing more special than adopting a new furry friend who you'll spend the rest of your life with. Our sweet domestic animals are a furever type of thing, and fostering a meaningful bond with the animals that choose us (because let's face it, they do) is the most important step in becoming the best pawrents we can be. After the first initial bond, it's only a matter of time before their paws are one step behind us at all times. Talk about heaven!

The TikTok user who posted this story introduces us to her newly-adopted pitbull, Bubby, and what his first month of being in his new (and only) furever home looks like. With many animals from shelters, you can expect that they might have a difficult time acclimating to your home because it's a completely different environment than they're used to. Not Bubby, though! The hooman, whose name is Britt, saw the twinkle in Bubby's eye right after she adopted him. Bubby has an emotional support stuffed ducky to soothe him when things get a bit overwhelming, but Britt explains that he is one giant love bug. He's constantly cozied up in big piles of blankets and pillows, and even sleeps like a little hooman!
