We have a warehouse camera system for safety and security reasons. One of my coworkers (let's call him Steve) apparently thought this was the perfect setting.
  • For his Oscar-worthy performance. During a shift, he "tripped" over a clearly visible pallet, except the cameras caught him looking directly at it, pausing,
  • and then dramatically throwing himself forward like a bad stunt double. He lay there groaning until a manager came over. When the manager offered to call an ambulance,
  • Steve refused, saying he'd "just fill out the paperwork." Two hours later, HR called him in with the footage. My favorite part was watching Steve watch himself on screen
  • and still try to argue: "That's... not how it happened." He didn't get workers' comp. He did get fired. And now his "fall" is the breakroom's favorite meme.

  • 9Score And10 Pant... Similar thing happened at my family's business. An employee didn't realize there were cameras in the barn and simply laid down and placed some trays of dirt on top of himself to make it look like he fell
  • carrying them. Then he sat up to rearrange his position, he was in the process of smoothing out the dirt when my brother rolled up on him and asked what the h I he was doing. Fired as soon as the instant replay was checked.
  • sweetnessfnerk Have a nice trip. See you next, never!!!
  • Particular-Skirt963 Do people not pay attention to where the cameras are? And if he intended to get caught on camera why not
  • bail out when he realized his performance was bad? I swear to god if I didnt have morals I could get so rich
