17 Canine Cosplayers Who’d Win Any Costume Contest

Who said that cosplaying was just for us humans? Whoever did, obviously did not take into account that doggos are darn good cosplayers who can take advantage of their diminutive size to play out their comic book fantasies in real life. Take for example the doggo who loves Indiana Jones. He can put on the hat and the whip and then jump into a myriad of tunnels pawfectly suited to his size to recreate moments from the movie. Or a darling doggo who pawticularly enjoys the work of Marty and Doc Brown. For him, every ride in the car is a ride that might get him sent back to 1955.

So we figured it was time to show of the cute canine cosplayers of the world and the kind of cosplay they like to get involved in and it is widespread. On show today we have such legends as Melvin the Giraffe from Madagascar, James Bond, the shark from Jaws and many more magical cosplays to entertain the mind and melt the soul.

Here we have a wholesome doggo whose favorite movie is apparently Madagascar, seeing how he is cosplaying as Melvin. Which makes a lot of sense if you think about it. The Madagascar franchise is basically Die Hard combined with Mission Impossible but for animals. Freaking genius stuff.

Just like how every comic con has a certain amount of Buffy the Vampire Slayer cosplayers, the dog cosplaying world has the same issue. Though it is hard to knock this example considering how fluffy and cute she is. But she could have invested a little more in the realism of her outfit, or at least the fact that she is meant to be a vampire slayer and not a vampire herself…
