Ask a hundred different people what their For You page on TikTok looks like, and you will likely get a hundred different answers, more or less. It has often been noted how unnervingly specific the recommendations of the algorithm can get, although usually it is influencing the user as opposed to the other way around.

This means that no matter how tailored our clock app experience may have become, we could be missing out on some good stuff purely because of what TikTok has decided that we want to see. It is good to broaden our horizons sometimes, and that is why this weekly dispatch of the random thoughts of various TikTokers can be an interesting thing. It allows us to open our eyes to the possibilities of how others see the world, and while we may not always agree, it often pays to be more well-informed while entertaining ourselves at the same time.
