I am almost certain that every parent experiences that first moment of utter shock, when their child says the most out of pocket thing in public, that not even an excavator could dig a hole big enough for them to crawl into…We praise 'honesty' to our children, yet there are often times when they are the most honest of us all.  The only problem? It always seems to occur at the worst possible time. 

Whether they are little fibs, comments on the appearance of others, or making sure to draw so much attention to themself that people on an adjacent continent can hear them, they never fail to hit the mark.
