Mr. Owl, how many flaps of the bird's wing does it take to get to the horizonless center of the biggest ocean?
This daring bird attempted to research this quandary on his own, accidentally flying straight out to sea before realizing he had no branches, no bushes, and no roofs to land on. Uh-oh—it appears that Mr. Owl has made a grave mistake! Luckily for this bird, however, his daring adventure out to the big ol' Blue was made far less treacherous after a pair of sailors discovered him flying around 20+ miles away from shore.
Seeing that this round-headed, long-talloned, bushy bird was certainly no seabird, the sailors took an interest in their buddy's plight. Within seconds of seeing their vessel, the owl beelined towards them for a hard-earned rest, getting his bearings for a moment before setting out on his own again. But the sailors wouldn't have this wayward soul set out alone again, and instead, they wrapped him up like a burrito, lulled him into taking a nap, and released him once again where the trees grew green and the sand was white. Perhaps rescue from a nearly-fatal sea exploration will make Mr. Owl think twice about going out with the fishes.
