‘Maybe I am a nut case or a crazy dog person for ruining my relationship over a dog.': Woman finds her lost dog at a vet hospital after 5 months of searching, and finds out her boyfriend let him escape, ending their 3 year relationship

Relationships can be really tough with doggos. Especially if it is the case that the doggo has been in one of the peoples' lives before they met and became a couple. And while most couples do manage to make it work, there are some less than stand up people in this world who have issues with sharing attention and love who tend to be pretty toxic when there is a doggo that predates them in a relationship. And much to the misfortune of the woman who tells this story, her ex-boyfriend was one of those people.

And an especially bad version of one of those people as he let his partner believe that her dog ran away for five months, and then upon its miraculous return barely even batted an eyelash, when the truth all along was that he was responsible for the dog running away and was too gutless to admit his abhorrent act in the first place.
