Tired 18-year-old calls off work only to be scolded by 31-year-old sister, who criticizes his work ethic: ‘She kept trying to make me get up and go to work’

We learn a lot from our older siblings, sometimes even more than from our parents. Since we usually are not that far apart in age, they get to experience the world slightly earlier than we do, and then report back on the mistakes they made and lessons they learned. And if their younger siblings are clever, they will take these lessons and apply them when it's time for them to take on the world.

But just because our older siblings may have more life experience than we do, that doesn't necessarily mean we must listen to them, especially when they take their "authority" one step too far. 

Which is how we would describe the older sister in the story below. She is a 31-year-old woman who still lives with her younger siblings, which makes her feel like she has a say about how they run their lives. When she started scolding her 18-year-old brother for missing a shift, she proved that older siblings are not always the wisest people.
