How long do you think you could work 3 full time jobs at the same time before getting caught? That's the game that "over-employed" workers play each and every workday, as they attempt to do the impossible: working multiple 9-5 jobs and getting paid multiple salaries.

It's a high-risk, high-reward game to attempt to play. Just think about the logistics of it! Say you're already at your original 9-5, and you then take on a second 9-5. How would you manage your emails, your Slack messages, your Teams meetings or Zoom calls? And not to mention that you've got to act like you're, you know, working at least a little bit of the time.

Over-employed workers will tell you that there's a strategy to this: you have to come to terms with the fact that you will be the worst employee on every team you're on. You will miss calls, you will have a long list of excuses that you'll use, you will avoid every Zoom meeting, and if you're lucky, you might get away with this for a while, bringing in cash money all the while.

This person, however, got caught. And then caught again. And then a third time! It's quite the downfall, as you can read all about below. Let's hope this currently under-employed worker finds themself a new job or 4 to make up for lost time.
