Woman rescues injured lorikeet in the street and nurses it back to health, the bird then invites its whole feathery family to her house to thank her

Animals are more thoughtful than we give them credit for. We're so used to seeing hoomanity as the pinnacle of evolution and civilization that we forget that creatures have their own ways of communicating that simply don't need words. They communicate through body language, instinct, and sometimes, sound. Birds, especially, are very social creatures. They really attach themselves to their owners, and apparently, they're not afraid to bring the whole feathery family to say hello!

This became colorfully apparent when one woman saw an injured lorikeet stunned in the middle of the road outside her house. She went out and nursed the beautiful bird back to health, all the while developing a loving, tender bond between the two of them. But saying "thank you" wasn't enough for this wholesome birdo. She awoke one morning to find what seemed like hundreds of lorikeets gathered in her backyard, which is anything but normal! Shocked, the woman then noticed her bird friend and the others were communicating, all chirping and singing together, seemingly to her. So, it just goes to show that a little kindness goes a long way, and if you invite one bird into your house, you should probably be prepared for it to bring some friends!
