Bullying. We all know of it, we hear about it, and we are aware of the effects. So many find out the truth when it's too late, and many turn away when they can do so much more. Bullying. It's an ugly word. It's one you hope to never hear in any context about your child. That sentence of "Your child is being bullied." is one that will make you feel like you are dropping from a roller coaster.
But, what if your child is brave enough to tell you about it? That is exactly what Keaton Jones did. The young student from Knoxville, TE has gone viral after appearing in a heartbreaking video (filmed by his mother) that reveals the true damage bullying causes.
Heartbreaking words of "They make fun of my nose. They call me ugly. They say I have no friends," are said by Keaton through tears in the Facebook clip posted by his mother, Kimberly. The video was recorded by her after Keaton had to be picked up from school to avoid lunchtime bullies.
Throughout the video, he goes on to detail how he and other children at his school are teased and tormented. If that doesn't leave you in tears already, this will. The fearless, brave and strong boy offers a message of encouragement, and ends the video by telling all victims of bullying that "it'll probably get better one day."
If that isn't amazing enough, the Facebook clip had attracted so much attention that even celebrities were there to leave encouragement to for Keaton.
