Babies are cute I guess, but man, are they a hassle. Especially when they're really young, like a few months old, they're basically just stress inducing sacks of potatoes. They scream and cry, or they say nothing and just stare into space. Every flight always has to have a baby screaming, and it always makes me wonder why they're flying with someone less than a year old. But what can we do? People need and want to have kids, and that's all there is to it. 

The woman in this story is upset with her friends because she feels that they've ruined her husband's birthday weekend at a festival. The festival is once a year, so it's not like they can just do it again soon. The friends in question brought their baby, only to cry and be a fuss the entire time. It's not just the babies behavior, it's also that the festival wasn't set up to cater to babies. What an absolute mess.
