Cats have a sixth sense when it comes to one thing: the dreaded V-E-T. You can crinkle a treat bag or whisper "dinnertime" from three rooms away and they'll teleport instantly. But say "vet" too loudly, and suddenly you're chasing a furry Houdini who has vanished into thin air.

The drama usually starts with the carrier. To hoomans, it's a cozy plastic box. To cats, it's a purrsonal prison on wheels. One glance at it, and they're bolting under the bed, leaving only a tail tip exposed… as if that's fooling anyone. Once they're caught, the symphony of meows begins.
