Every parent is going to make mistakes now and then. Nobody is capable of being the perfect role model and support system 365 days a year, no matter how hard they try, and so long as they are trying their best, it isn't worth worrying over every single thing.

That being said, one of the surprises that comes with parenting is how dumb it is possible to be while also being responsible for a child. It is certainly an endeavor that can stretch a person to limits that they previously thought might not be possible. There is no denying that it is far from an easy job, and the stress can take anybody to some strange places.

It is no wonder, then, that many parents feel like they need somewhere to turn for advice now and then. A second opinion and some reassurance can be an important way for things to feel less overwhelming.

This is why one mom turned to ChatGPT for help after she found herself stuck in an unusual situation. She forgot her daughter's name, and she looked to the artificial intelligence for support in this difficult and upsetting time.
When she shared this with the internet and some people found it amusing, she was quick to be defensive of her actions. It is fair to say that not everybody saw it in the same way that she did.
