Dogs chase stray tabby cat up a tree, but soon become best friends with the feline when their owner rescues him: ‘Turns out, they were just welcoming their new friend’

Who said cats and dogs can't be the best of friends? I know, chasing a feline up a sizeable tree isn't exactly good first-impression material, but you won't believe how things can change over the course of a few days. Even when you think all hope is lost and the little feline you saved from the rickety tree branch is picked on by his canine siblings, you wake up to them taking up all of the space on your bed. Well, at least you know why your legs were dangling off the side of the mattress all night!

The pet owner who shared this story explains that her pups, one being a grandiose mastiff, chased an outdoor cat up a tree. The pet owner found a way to rescue the kitty and took him in shortly after. An animal lover's wildest dream is to have their dogs and cats live in unison together, preferably as best friends who take on the world (and the foot of the bed) together.
