Who gets the dog after a breakup? 

Dog custody is always a challenge in relationships, but there's always a simple answer that leaves most dog-loving leeches frozen in their tracks. The only way to truly decide who gets the dog in a breakup is to refer to the ancient texts of veterinary history. Whose last name is on your dog's medical history? 

More than likely, whoever is on all of the dog's paperwork, their grooming contact, their trainer's list, or their vet's profile, that's who should get full custody of the dog after a split. And anyone who suggests otherwise, especially if they cheated on their ex, should be denied at all costs. A story went viral recently of a woman who adamantly stood up for her own pup's allegiance, insisting that her cheating ex-boyfriend shouldn't even be allowed visitation of their furbaby after he broke her trust. And while there wasn't much kickback from this manchild, the entire internet rallied to back her up.
