Well, first off it is clear that this person, while they say they moved on, most certainly did not move on from losing their dear gecko and who can blame them. But on the gecko’s side of things, it sounds like the escape led to a pretty sweet set up where she had a whole basement as her tank and somewhat natural feeding ground. Clever gecko this one.

Honestly, we have to say that we are a little conflicted about this one. Like, it sounds as though the gecko was pretty happy and self-sufficient living in the basement. And like a cat who likes to go outside, you cannot really force them to be an indoor cat without harming them in one way or another. Begging the question whether putting the gecko back into captivity was the right call at all?
