‘[We] did not expect that’: Family finds out that it's not raccoons getting into their trash, it's a puppy, rescues him and becomes part of the family

A puppy found furever happiness by cosplaying as a raccoon. How is that so? Okay, obviously, he wasn't actually cosplaying, but he was rummaging through a family's garbage every night like a trash panda. So when the family would find their trash everywhere in the mornings, they decided to confront this "raccoon." So, they put some food out and set up an outdoor camera. However, when they saw that it was no raccoon, but a puppy, their hearts broke! They immediately went into action. They set up a dog catcher trap cage with food inside and waited for the puppy's nightly return. 

 

The first time he came, the trap malfunctioned and didn't shut. They were happy to give the pup some food, but they wanted to give him a home. So they tried again and were successful! At first, the dog was so scared, and barked and growled. However, he quickly felt the love and now is now their beloved family dog. They are getting him the care he needs at the vet and he has grown extra close to their little boy. We love a happy ending, especially when it includes a happy pup!

  • Animal rescuing is no new endeavor for this family. They are constantly posting about the animals they have rescued on their TikTok. It seems they never leave a living soul behind and have given happy and safe homes to many fur babies. This fur baby is now their's and they've named him Jet. It turns out he wasn't actually a puppy, he's 1-year-old! He just has those forever puppy dog eyes and tiny little legs. Everyone lucked out in this situation and we hope this family and Jet are happy forever! Maybe now he'll guard their trash from curious trash pandas!
