'Come frolick in the moss with me': A field of memes to frolick through

While memes can certainly touch on serious topics from time to time, we don't usually seek them out when we're looking to dampen our mood. Their primary role is to entertain, distract, and fuel our procrastination. It may seem inconsequential, but it is just as necessary as anything else. This doesn't mean it's wrong for them to become more layered or explore deeper issues beyond the surface-level concerns we encounter every day, but it is crucial that they do so in a way that remains enjoyable—even if that enjoyment occasionally comes with a hint of masochism. Some may fault memes for leaning too heavily on humor, but this lightheartedness is often their greatest strength. Perhaps nothing really matters, but not in a negative sense. That, at least, is the message memes seem to be sending. Personally, I'm inclined to trust their endlessly flowing wisdom.
