People like this exist everywhere. They think authority is open-source, free to claim by anyone with a loud voice and no sense of proportion. They confuse participation with management, convinced the world will collapse if they’re not personally enforcing the rules. Gyms collect them because they’re the perfect habitat, mirrors everywhere, routine power trips, and just enough structure to make them feel righteous. The result is always the same: someone with too much energy and too little purpose telling someone else how to exist.
