Kind-hearted woman rescues dog and takes it to shelter while trying to contact owner, shocked when the dog's owners angrily confront her, blaming her for new shelter fees, ignoring the dog's repeated escapes: 'Guilt-trip me into offering to pay'

Trying to make sense of this story is like trying to put a puzzle together, except each piece belongs to a different picture. This kind-hearted woman is on her way to work when she spots a dog in the road, alone and confused. She stops her car, debates the work detour this will cause her, yet decides to help the dog anyway. With no collar on the dog, she decides to take it to a shelter.

To her surprise, they find the dog is microchipped and contact the owner.
