Hungry customer exposes a Doordasher after they steal ½ of his food order, receives an 80% refund, and gets the delivery guy fired: ‘[He] not only stole food, but rifled through everything else’

After waiting almost an hour for his delivery, this family man and habitual takeout enjoyer was absolutely baffled when his order finally showed up. With bags rummaged through, sauces spilt, and their salad touched by a stranger's hands, this man's dinner (as well as his family's) was completely ruined. Hungry, furious, and with the restaurant owner's phone number in his back pocket, this man turned a kitchen drawer brochure order into a mission for revenge. 

It's gross to think about a food delivery sometimes. Don't dwell on it too much if you're the type to order food all the time, but having your noodles, burger, or tom kha soup stewing in the tepid AC of a random delivery guy's Miata is a bit icky. While they may not have their food handler's license, most delivery drivers try their best to live up to their prescribed tips, but sometimes, the wafting smells of another person's food order hypnotize them into doing the unthinkable. Stealing a fry once in a while is one thing, but ransacking a person's entire order and stealing half of it warrants some kind of punishment.

  • were SOOO many times when I got to a restaurant and the order had already been picked up by another dasher, but the customer never received it, though the restaurant definitely made the order and gave it to a dasher. Like at least 40-50 times.

  • NeoMoose · This is why I prefer delivery Chinese (one of the last bastions of real delivery). DoorDashers don't have a boss. No manager checking them. No schedule. They don't even interview for the work. Then, the Al customer service covers for their shittiness.
