There is something so heart wrenchingly fragile about a kitten who has been abandoned. Almost as though, a puppy is more capable of surviving the outside world (perhaps due to their cuteness and more universal societal admiration), but there is something undeniable about an abandoned kitten which invokes urgency in our souls.

As it did for our brave rescuers, who stopped everything they were doing to make sure that this cute kitten would not meet a fate that so many other kittens had unfortunately met after being thrown out. It is a truly uplifting story and one that serves to remind us that when something is important enough, like the life of a kitten, there should be nothing in this world that stops you from lending a helping hand. So settle in and prepaw to have your heartstrings pulled on extra hard. Just consider blocking your local shelter's website in case you get too excited to spontaneously save a kitten yourself.
